It’s known that there are frozen water deposits on Mars. Now, it seems that there are seasonal streams of liquid water flowing across the surface of the Red Planet, say astronomers, including an Indian-origin scientist.

Let me put it this way for you. It's estimates that there are 200-400 billion stars in the milkyway galaxy, each one of them stars has the potential for life to be on a planet near them. It's estimates that there are 100-200 billion galaxies in the universe. Obviously some will be bigger, some will be smaller than the milkway. Just to keep this simple we'll just say there the same size. I'll use the low end of the estimates so you can't say I'm going over the top.
100 billion x 200 billion = 2.0 × 1022
It doesn't seem plausible that there will be no life out there. I'd bet most life isn't as complex as us, but it's almost certainly out there.
