I guess you're really passionate about the car, so fuuuk it :y: How old are you? lol I'm in the process of saving up for a Subie STi, gonna run me around 15-20k for a used, older model and some more for the mods. However, I doubt I'll spend 90k haha. So, my car+mods is gonna cost me less than how much you payed for your car, and then some leftover aha. I never knew the M3's ran for that high of a price man, dammmmmm.

Some people buy cars for performance ie to mod it, tune it, etc. I know for a fact that every single car will not get you from point A to point B, because... cars, like everything else, run into problems. So, not all people buy cars for the pure sake of traveling, but rather for a thrill, excitement. It might sound crazy, but I know so many people that have a car just to drive for fun or to take on the track.
Yeah I pretty much checked every single option on the order form. :p I could of got like a used F430, but man that upkeep... A fuel pump costs 20 grand, you have to replace the clutch every 3 years, that's 20k. Brakes are 8k. Tires are yearly changed @ $500 a tire. And that's only if you drive it about 3k miles a year. My commute is stop and go traffic, which puts alot of strain on the clutch.
Believe me, I research all my options before I buy. :p M3's rolling good with 100,000 miles of free maitenence. & I'm 26.
If you get the newest model, you should get the hatch. It looks great. If not, an EVO X SE or MR. It's a nice ride without a huge spoiler on the back. Saw one yesterday, bright blue. We followed each other for a good 20 miles.
There's nothing like driving a car you tuned up. Wish you luck in those plans.
