a $100 bill is 6.14 inches long....
so:
$1,000,000 would be 61,400 inches/11.628788 miles.
$1,000,000,000 would be 61,400,000 inches/11,628.787878 miles or the distance it would take to travel from los angeles to new york and back two times with enough left over to travel to st. louis afterwards.
$1,000,000,000,000 would be 61,400,000,000/11,628,787.878788 miles long. this would allow you to travel around the equator 466.991 times or to travel to the moon AND back 24 times with enough left over to circle the equator 6 full times and land half-way across the world on the 7th trip.
and there you have it. pointless? yes. fun? maybe not. informative? damn right!
