(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});So which do you regard as more important, EQ or IQ?
EQ refers to emotional intelligence
IQ refers to relative intelligence compared to other people
Personally, I believe that EQ is more important as it allows for better human interaction and understanding
Although I regard cognitive ability as important, I still feel that being able to relate to people on an emotional level is a greater measure of overall intelligence and I also feel that IQ is not an accurate measure of intelligence
EDIT: I'll further define what EQ measures - self-awareness, self-control, social awareness and relationship management
Without EQ there would be more war from those who don't have the emotional capacity to feel for fellow human beings. Without IQ there would be more war because those in charge would be idiots who don't know what's good for them.
IMO IQ is a tad more important, although both are important to an extent.

I'm starting to wonder if EQ can also be derived from IQ because it seems that some people with, let's say, "lower" intelligence levels seem to lack emotional capabilities also
