In Flames Much?
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); It would appear that CERN has found a major bombshell. Hidden within a couple years worth of data.
Sub-atomic particles have been found to be traveling faster then light particles.
Strange particles which did the feat was from a group called neutrinos.

What does this mean........wellll Einstein was wrong. Along with a couple other theories which use it numbers.
If this is true then science is put into a right pickle.

Best news time travel IS possible and it was found by accident.
Found it interesting so posted it. What do people think could it be possible ?
In this day and age stuff like this is checked before released so could be true.

If anyone really believes that there is actually "something" faster and/or quicker than light/speed of light. Consider yourself a fool.

Our intelligence is growing at an alarming rate, think about it 20 years ago our technology seems primitive so what it does today. Wouldn't be surprised if we had teleportation in our everyday lives by 2050.

I've never believed in Einstiens speed of light theory e=mc2 anyway, main reason is it's a theory. There can't be such thing as a 'max' speed. Any clever person would realize we have been visited by other beings, who live millions of light years away, but can probably travel to earth in a matter of months.

Different laws of physics = different outcomes. Take Elastic Conductors for example, they defy the laws of physics in every way, but they are essentially what makes our TV's work.

Sigh

"You make it sound as though a "theory" is something you dreamt up after being drunk all night" - Isaac Asimov

The theory of Special Relativity has been proven many many times in different experiments, and the main thing is that it doesn't even state that nothing can go faster than the speed of light. It is a common misconception like I quoted in my last post.

So do you not believe in evolution because "main reason is it's a theory"?

Hurah!
time travel was said to be possible by travelling at the speed of light (or higher) for a set period of time whilst outside the earths atmosphere, if you travel at the speed of light for 5 years when you return to earth you will have aged 5 years whereas everone else will have aged 50 (not sure if numbers are exactly right im sure someone knows more on the matter than me)

time travel is pretty simple

set 2 watches to the same time/second ect

take a car that can almost go to the speed of light, sit 1 mph under the speed of light for an hour now go back to the other watch and youve travels aprox 7 minutes into the future

the faster you move the slower time goes

also

also the "nothing can go faster than the speed of light" is complete bullshit, throw in an interfearing force like a black hole and the speed items travel relative to time is far greater than that of light

also the equipment they used to mesure the speeds was probbaly taken totaly out of context for example there could have been a solar flair at the time thats a guarenteed way to **** up and sensative mesuring/scoped equipment

If you could travel through a wormhole, where one exit is light years behind the other, then in theory it is possible. The problem is keeping the entrances and exits open. Some have proposed that if you release enough negative matter in the wormhole, then it will expand instead of contract. This isn't a question for anyone in this lifetime though. It's melancholy, "limited by the technology of our time."

thats a nice theory.... but i doupt we could make anything strong enough to go through a black hole... ever

even the weakest black holes rips atoms apart

Time travel isn't impossible IMo. It is in our life timne, but it may not be in the future.

Your saying it IS possible now, but WON'T be in the future? Did I read it right?

I ment isn't, well at least for long time periods. I've seen this documentry thingo on the bermuda triangle and someone appartly travelled for a few minutes due to some shit in the sky or something. He was flying a plane.
