(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was watching a USMC sniper video on the history channel and it stated where the word "sniper" came from. Snipe is a type of bird that was hard to hit, and those that could hit them were called snipers. I thought it was kind of cool.
