(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); For those of you who don't know what a wager is, officially it's 'an agreement under which each bettor pledges a certain amount to the other depending on the outcome of an unsettled matter' - in other words, it's a bet.

The terms of the bet can be anything, with topics ranging from Forum-related (e.g. I bet that -Dave- will be demoted within the next 2 weeks), sport-related (e.g. I bet that Arsenal will win the Premier League this year), celebrity related (e.g. Paris Hilton will release another sex tape before December), politics (e.g. I bet that Obama will be in for another term), or practically anything you can think of. Try to make it original.

The stakes can also be nearly anything you'd like, but try to keep them light hearted as it's just a bit of fun, e.g. control of loser's avatar for 2 months, control of loser's signature for 2 months (when I say control I should point out it simply means you either give me or the user the code you would like in their signature, you won't actually get the powers to change it), control of loser's username, or even the loser has to get a picture with a large black man. Make them anything you like (other than money, don't need the aggro).

So how will this work?

Dave, I accept your bet.

Once either of these occur, the bet is locked down, I place it in here - and there's no going back! Get betting.

I bet that Newcastle United draw against Spurs Sunday coming. I'll keep my avatar as what you want it until I can be arsed to change it, 2... maybe 3 year. I'll also put my signature down to, can't be child porn, racism, advertising though.
