Here's to Loonyology!
(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Psychiatrists assessing self-confessed Norwegian mass killer Anders Behring Breivik have concluded that he is suffering from paranoid schizophrenia.

They believe he was in a psychotic state during the twin attacks on 22 July that led to the deaths of 77 people and injured 151.

He was also insane during the 13 interviews the two psychiatrists held with them, a news conference heard.

Breivik admits carrying out the attacks but has pleaded not guilty to charges.

He has previously said the attacks were atrocious but "necessary", saying he was fighting to defend Europe from a Muslim invasion, which was being enabled by what he called "cultural Marxists" in Norway's Labour Party, and the European Union.

The two psychiatrists, in their report, concluded that he lived in his "own delusional universe where all his thoughts and acts are guided by his delusions".

It's really scary when you think about it. Having your own little world to go insane in. Also like that multiple personality disorder, where there's more than one person living inside your head. Really sad.

It's crime to think differently in this day and age now.

It took two shrinks to figure out he was insane?

I hope they medicate him enough that he realizes he is spending the rest of his life locked up!!

In Flames Much?
At the end of the day i feel sorry for.
For starters any issues he has are pretty hard to deal with alone. Combined with the fact he now has to spend his life in prison.
Bright side he may get the treatment he needs now to cope with it.
Goes to show that mental health is something that all too often overlooked till it too late.

His statement says it all, why did they have to assess him> He admits carrying out the attacks, but denies the crime, pleading Not guilty. Norway's prosecution system is messed up; he could get something like 12 years in prison. We had to study this in Politics & Law, really complicated but he might get trialed elsewhere so he can get life imprisonment or the death penalty.

Or capital punishment. If Norway has that.
