(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Well I'm not really sure where to post it , so I guess I'll post it here because a lot of you guys come to this section.
Well I'm a junior in high school and I'm a B average kid and I play basketball.. Sometimes I wonder wtf do when I'm older? They say junior year is basically the most important year because that's when you start applying to colleges and stuff. I'm not sure what I want to do as a career and what I want to go to college to major in.. I've been researching and looking around on google for what type of subjects there are to major in but most of them if not all dont interest me. I want something I'd enjoy. What do you guys do? You have any suggestions/ideas of fun jobs that makes good money?

Thanks ..

Well I'm not good with this shit, but think of all the things you enjoy doing. If you find something that sounds good, maybe ask what it's like in the shoutbox?

If your going to college and you don't know what you want to do take subjects like Math and the sciences perhaps some kind of computer science course not ICT because most of the time that's a waste of a ****ing subject especially if there teaching you how to you programs not write them. Anyway these subjects would give you a good grounding for any average paid job and besides nobodies going to want to hire some guy straight out of college with an art or media studies qualification unless you specifically try to go into something in that area which would be very difficult to get into unless you know someone already there.

You're asking us what you'll enjoy?

If money's the object, be a doctor or lawyer. But don't go just for money. You HAVE to love your field in order to succeed. You won't be good if you don't like it. I'm a lawyer, and I loved history and government in school. I was very good at math. And most of all, I like arguing for my side.

IT guys make alright money. But I'd hate messing with computers all day and the stigma associated with the field.

You could get the military to pay for your college and then come out and join as an officer. That's what I wanted to do. I wanted to be a fighter pilot. I took a screening exam and got the highest score they'd seen. It was a math test, and I'd just taken numerous advanced math courses. They wanted to go have me take a backseat ride in one of their F-15s. The military pays well, and after 25 years you can retire and take home a large portion of your salary in retirement.

You could be a state trooper or policeman. They also have a good retirement plan. It's a good job. I work in D.C., the capitol policemen walk around the government buildings with M16s and shotguns. I think that's pretty badass.

Let's see, you could be an engineer. They have one of the highest starting salaries out of any career.

Hope this helped somehow. If you have questions just quote me. I'm a corporate attorney, so if you have questions about that, you can ask away. Remember, money can be a motive, but don't make it top priority.
