Is your wireless network encrypted? If so, you'll have to enter in the encryption keys on the iPod Touch.

this happened to me with my iphone the first time i tried to hook it up. try restarting the ipod by holding down the home and lock button, you will see the "slide to turn off" prompt pop up, ignore that and continue to hold the home and lock button until it shuts off and restarts, continue to hold until you see the apple logo.

all this is doing is doing a hard restart on the device, you will not lose any data.

if that dosent work, plug the ipod into the computer, back up the ipod, and restore it.

well if it says ur connected but wont browse the go to setting and click reset on the ipod happened to mine
