Personally I'm a LA Lakers fan, however, I don't think they will make it far to the playoffs due to the pieces they have and Kobe's injury. Okay, the team I think will be a legitimate threat in the East is either Miami Heat, New York Knicks, Chicago Bulls. Now for the West Coast, I think the Thunder, San Antonio, & I know this is bold to say this, but maybe the Clippers got what it takes. Now, seeing the Knicks v Celtics game. I must say, it was very exciting. Melo scored 37 points & 8 rebounds, Amare scored 21 points 6-7 rebounds, Chandler scored 7 points & 8 blocks. What about Douglas?! 19 points! Remarkable. My question is, would the game been different if Paul Pierce was in the game than rather sitting in the sideline injured? Who knows? That a question that won't be answered until Knicks & Celtics face-off against each other again when Pierce is healthy. But I have to say by looking at the game, the Knicks have develop some swagg. Last year, you didn't see that from the Knicks. So it a good change. Bringing in Chandler who brought in some tough defense mentality for the team, but also brought in championship experience. Don't forget his involvement w/ the Mavericks victory over the Heat in the NBA Finals.

Now, what about the Miami Heat???!!!! Ass whooping!!! Looks like everyone was right. The Mavs needed to win the title last year, because this year they're not repeating as champs. Also, what you think of this year for Miami? Champ or Bust? My answer to this question is, I can't say it can be either until the trio contracts are up. However, I do think the trio will win the championship. If it not this year (which I think they can win it this year if they can get past the Bulls), or next year. The question about if they can mend together & play throughout the year successful is over. They already have the experiences of playing together thanks to last year. So I'm expecting some improvement this year from them. I may not like LeBron, but I can't discredit his skills.

Chicago Bulls have won my respect. Now I may be a Kobe fan, however, I'm also D-Rose fan. I been watching the kid play since his college days in Memphis. Now, my heart is shattered since D-Rose crushed my Lakers when he made that game-winning shot, but I have to give to my man D-Rose. He did his thing. Now lets talk about the Bulls. The defensive schemes was executed perfectly. Keeping Kobe Bryant off-balance and making him uncomfortable was a success for the Bulls. They knew they can't let Kobe roam around the court whenever he wants. They had to play strict defense. Guarding the perimeter from the Lakers was brilliant. According to the Chicago Bulls stats in the Laker game, they shot 40.4% from the field, 46.7 from 3-point range, their free-throw was 9-14 which is 64.3%. They need to work on the free-throws if they want to continue to beat teams when they force to be put in the foul-line. The Lakers beat the Bulls in field goal percentage by shooting 47.4%, but their 3-point shot was horrible! Shooting 25% behind the 3-point line! Pathetic! What also cost them was the free-throws. They were 11-20 which is 55%. In order to be successful in this league, they need to be successful when it comes to free-throws because every point matters in this league.

The LA Clippers are in interesting story this year. The pieces they gained for the franchise was surprising. Getting CP3 & Chauncey was a nice pick-up. The two are one of the best PG in the game today. I'm interest in how the Clippers will respond this year. I hope it won't be disappointing because I'm not the type a guy who wish everyone fails. The media hyped everyone up about the Clippers. So I'm looking forward to see what they can bring to the table. I want your opinions about how far you think the Clippers will go this year.
