Pros: The Dolby Digital 5.1 when setup correctly is very crisp and clear and each channel can be uniquely heard. I didn't think they were anything special until I popped Battlefield 3 in. Was able to isolate where players were shooting from easily in shooter games. It is also very effective with high action films and sports games such as Forza and Fifa.

Cons: The mic seems to pop a bit if you move abruptly or wiggle the connection akwardly. The optical cable provided is short and of low quality, but provides it function if all devices are within close proximity.

The best tip I can give anybody thinking about buying Tritton's; Don't. The build quality is terrible and the mic sucks.

well while thinking about getting a new headset, i was doing some research. i came up with buying the AX180's because the AX720's are not as comfortable as the 180's ... but yes the 720's does have better sound quality then the 180's but 180's sound is decent. check this video out :

the only problem i have had with them is the mic. The mic is absolute shit. In june my mic broke and i called mad catz(the owner of tritton) and their service was COMPLETE SHIT!!!!!!!!! They first time i called they said the mic would be there in 2-3 weeks. 2 months past still nothing so i called again and they tell me they have no record of me ever calling.. I was really furious because I was stuck with the shity Bluetooth mic. So ya he said it was shipped again but they supposedly shipped it by ups this time and i was gunna get an email about it. So another month rolls by STILL NO MIC. So i call again at this point i am Fucking pissed I keep getting higher up into the cahin of people they had there eventually i think after 2 hours on the phone with them they said they sent it again and they gave me a 50$ gift card for the inconvinience of their compagnie i said i would not stand for it ever again i was honestly really happy beacause i got my mic and a 50$ gift card at first i was like WTFFFFF but its cool i used it on some tritton ear budz they sell.

No problem. If you're passionate about hating on these because they screw you over, then trying to stop me from buying them is good.
I just want to get a headset that won't break in the first 6 months.

it took them about 9 months i think to break... but other than that no problems what so ever my dad broke the ear peice off their really easy to put back together we used a simple contact cement to put them back really easy to assemble
