They could be active still. Some of them could be popular today just under a different username.
A user id is an indicator of when you joined the site, it is in no way related to your name. So, changing your username is irrel-evant in this situation.
And if you use the ratio of active members to total members on NGU, there are less than 3k truly active users among the entire almost 700k...
3/700 * 10,000 = Approximately 43 active users
I know what you're thinking.. Way to over-complicate things :dumb:

Ugh. You didn't get my point at all. Your over thinking what i'm saying. I'm not talking about your userid or your username. I'm saying that someone, for example, lost their password, but they had registered close to when the site began. They make a different account and therefor no one knows them as their original name. So they have to start over from scratch. No one knows them even if they were active when they first started.
So please do not act like i'm some sort of retard because you didn't understand what I was saying.

If you lose your account you're supposed to recover it, not make a new one

You are retarded? You email the admins, not just make a new account. I'm pretty sure OG's like that (first 15 people to sign up), don't make a new account after losing it, they find a way to get it back.

Your a retard. First of all we're not talking about the first ****ing 15, we're talking about the first 10000 dumbass. Also emailing the admins doesn't always work. Actually most of the ****ing time it doesn't work. Do not quote me again with another dumbass excuse.
