(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); This topic just came to me a few minutes ago. Personally I drive a stick and I really love it. It's so much more fun to drive. With an automatic all you have to do is aim, speed up, and slow down. With a stick it's much more involving.

Which of the two do you drive? And which do you prefer?

sticks better if your a speed demon quicker gear changes, automatics better if your not, i prefer stick on my car its just under my cd player just at the side and under my steering wheel for the added sporty feel

I"ll go with Manual cuz If u know to drive with manual you can drive with automatic easily.

Manual is much quicker and there isnt a limit on revs unlike automatic will change gear when you race your friends hehe

Manual isn't quicker. In a manual, you cut all power to the engine for at least a second or two while you shift. In my car, I pull a paddle and shift in under a tenth of a second. Automatics aren't what they used to be.

Manual transmission is the best.

I voted for manual...for some reason I just feel more in control with manual transmission.

Manual.. It's a lost skill in the United States. Plus I have to agree on the fact that it makes driving more fun. Depending on the car, driver, and what is under the hood a manual may be faster in a race. But there is the possibility that they will suffer in off the line acceleration.

I haven't started driving yet, but I think it depends on the driver and the type of driving you do. Also, I think Automatic is better as it is easier
