[YT]NextGenSource[/yt]

On the new NextGenSource channel users can submit their own videos to the channel. We're looking for original content - be it game reviews, gaming technology reviews, a new series of commentaries that hasn't been done before - or just an original personality!

Your video must have the NextGenSource intro before the gameplay begins - and there must be no audio over the top of it, it can be found here: You must login or register to view this content.. (to watch the intro click You must login or register to view this content.)

To upload your video simply go to www.nextgenupdate.com/forums/uploader.php, click 'Attach File', put your channel link in the description, and the rest is self-explanatory.

1) Yes, but we're not looking for montages.

2) No, the NGUPlayer will remain but this will be the official channel of NGU as such.

Hey Dave, I just thought I'd let you know that'y you're doing a great job on expanding the community & giving us all an opportunity to

1.) Engage in community events.
and/or
2.) Promote their own gameplay/commentaries/etc. on the channel to show people their own personal work.

Thanks man! You're doing good.

Not sure how many people use Mac's here, but is there a way of getting the intro in another file format? Just wondering since others and myself included don't feel like downloading third party apps to view WMVs.

Thanks.

I'm on a Mac myself and to play .WMV's you can simply download QuickTime and Flip4Mac.

I'll try and talk to dave because the current file also has really, really bad banding, video noise and an unfavourable file format.

If he still has the raw video and audio I'll make a version with lossless H.264 or raw colourspace video and FLAC/high bitrate AAC so re-encoding when finalising videos and the transcoding and downscaling youtube does won't be as prominent.

As for playing them back, mplayerx is the best choice You must login or register to view this content.
