I can't really just list facts. Any specific questions?

/spoiler alert

Basically, Atticus Finch is the father of Scout and Jem. The story focuses on the kids going through school in the great depression, in racist Alabama. They are raised mainly by a black housewife, because Atticus' wife died. Atticus is a lawyer and the climax is the trial of Tom Robinson. He is a black man (falsely) charged with rape by the town idiot, a white man. Atticus is hated for defending a black man, but he sees past the color barrier. It is a beginning of racial acceptance, but still, Tom is convicted by the racist jury to die. The man who accused Tom is out for revenge against Atticus, even after he won the case. He almost kills the kids, but he is stopped by Boo Radley, the man who was a mystery the whole story. He was perceived as a mean, cruel man; but it was all assumption. He becomes a hero to the family when he saved the kids. It represents the judgemental world.

Atticus influences Jem by telling him to keep is head and not get mad about what people say about him testifying for a Negro. The man Mr. Ewuell Beats up kids as they are coming from the pageant and Mr. Arthur Radley or "boo" Saves jem, it doesnt say whether Boo killed him or if Mr. ewuell fell on his knife :y:
