Well its seems that New York State banned over 3 Thousand Sex Offenders from the gaming scene. New York states that they used the online gaming world to make friends and eventually ask their "friends" to meet them in real life. This new law is called "Operation: Game Over" Now as of right now they have been working with gaming platforms owned by Microsoft, Apple, Blizzard Entertainment, Electronic Arts, Warner Bros. and Disney Interactive Media Group.

What they basically did is got sex offenders, and there information and wiped out any information that matched with the console.

I think that's a bit unfair there is a huge difference between paedophile and child molester, child molesters should be banned from online play paedophiles are not necacerilly child molesters and should not be banned I mean who am I to say that if some guy likes to masturbate to CP he should be banned from online play because he might try to meetup in real life I think that's a huge genralization and most sane people would not consider it, I belive that it infringes on people's freedoms all for "OH WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CHILDREN" argument. Fuck that ruiling I'm mad now I hate seeing people's rights and freedoms eroded by the government that are trying to make some world where every dark alley at night time is safe that's never going to happen so stop trying to make it a reality before you know it we'll be living in a police state where you won't be able to take a shit with out the government watching.

Fuck, I think my tinfoil hat's on to tight.
