(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys. I've had my trophy shop up for a couple of weeks now. I've gotten a considerable amount of orders and have received a lot of payments. As a result Paypal has limited my account. When I called, the Paypal people asked where I got the money from. Have any of you guys encountered this problem? And if so, how do you get around it? Also this is how my Paypal is set up. I have one "proxy" account which I use to receive money that are payments; once the order is completed I send the money from the proxy to my actual Paypal, from where I withdraw my money. I could really use the help. This is somewhat related; is selling trophies illegal? To the best of my knowledge I don't think I'm breaking any laws or copyrights but I'm not 100% sure. Because I was thinking of using selling trophies as the reasoning to Paypal. I want to continue doing this but at this rate it may not last.

Paypal just limits your account if they suspect suspicious activity so just contact them and explain the situtation and selling trophies is not illegal

You can also get limited if they think you're getting people to use the Send as gift option for shops / sales. Were you doing that?

I was selling trophies, so I guess it counts. I didn't specify to people as to what to send it as. They just sent it to me as gifts as far as I know.

Call PayPal and explain the problem, but as team seven said, explain trophy trading is legal. If you get no luck with that, I'd suggest you verify your PayPal with a vanilla gift card they cost $25 each and act as a prepaid credit card. Or you can set up your PayPal to a credit card/ bank account and that should verify it.

To make sure Your not doing anything wrong, if you have allot of transactions and you have a dispute then that's what the problem is, everything should be back to mortal in a matter of days

I forgot to mention; I told Paypal the first few were gifts and the lady talking to me that she would note it down. They want further clarification on the payments; so should I tell them that they were gifts or that it was payments?

I have no disputes, it's just the amount of payments to the accounts.
