I would run down to a weapons store and then run to a mall just like Dawn of the Dead and boom! survive as long as possible.
Or I might go to the winchester and wait for all of it to blow over :carling:

Turn everything in my house into a makeshift weapon. If a weapon cannot be fashioned from it then I shall make it into makeshift armor. From there I shall arm myself and put on my makeshift armor and figure where I can get some heavy artillery and firearms in Canada. Then I shall raid that place and arm myself properly. Then steal a shitload of lumber and metal. Use that to beef up my house. Then dig an extremely wide and long ditch around my house. Also steal some food while I get the weapons and home renovation materials.

You do know that everyone has this same idea. When you get there either there will be none left, or you would have to fight people over them.. That's why I say prepare before it happens.
