I mean, if we see a video of a star doing something obscene on tmz, we believe it, but a video of a UFO doesn't do it for us...

If I were to post a video of a alien, it would be labeled BS. If I uploaded audio, it'd be BS. If I uploaded pics, it's BS.

Anyways, short of actual interaction with one, what would it take to make you believe in one?

Somewhere in this universe so is it a galax just like us, so "aliens" exist and they might be like us or a diffrent way, we will never know because you can never look thru the universe and not even travel thru it, because we dont know how far away it is, it could be 1 year away from here, up to 500000000 years away.

It's Mathematically Possible .............. so what now you don't Believe in Math?

It's mathematically possible that a deity or flying spaghetti monster exists too, but that doesn't mean I'm gonna go ahead and claim that it/they exist(s).

That's like saying its possible that 2 + 2 = 4 but it doesn't mean your gonna go ahead and believe it.

Well we all Believe it because it has be proven, the only reason you don't believe in flying spaghetti Monsters is because it hasn't been proven.
We humans haven't even gotten past the Moon and our Satellites haven't past our Solar system.

Just because it hasn't been Proven by sight , The possibility of it has been proven by Math and Math has been Proven to be always Correct!

It's pretty ignorant to not believe in aliens. Now it's a different matter to believe they're visiting earth or not.

Do aliens exist? imo yes.

People say that's it's impossible due to our lack of knowledge of how things actually work.
Everything we think we know about the universe and life could easily be disproven in 50 years just like the people who thought the Earth was flat.

We assume that for life to exist we need the same conditions as we have on earth but it is only a theory, the so called "experts" on space and travel only go on theorys not actual facts. *I say it's a theory as it's only our limited understanding of things (how you can be a expert when you don't know for sure is beyond me)

You're confusing solid fact with mere possibility. Heck, the first line of your post even contradicted the last, assuming I'm not reading it incorrectly.

Now, when you add 2+2 we know, for a fact, that the answer is 4. On the other hand, when we do the maths and work out that there's Z chance of X existing, that's all it is, a chance. You shouldn't proclaim certainly that X exists based on chance. As I said there's a chance that a flying spaghetti monster exists, and there's a chance that aliens exist. The odds are just vastly different.

I shouldn't have to believe something just because it's supposedly quite likely.



Don't ignore the fact that theories are called exactly that because they have heaps of evidence in their favour.

It is still a theory and not a fact.

Considering that our universe is so vast, not much, I mean it would take a gullable person to believe we are the only living organisms in the entire universe.
