(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I got exams coming up and as always I find it really hard to revise - it's not really the actual revision, its more getting myself to do it. I do admit I'm on the PC way too much and this is probably the main reason I can't revise. Now assuming alot of you here are on pc/xbox way too often like I am, how do you guys revise effectively?

I usually do average/below in the exams, 60's and 70's. I really need to pass these above avg so my parents can help me pay for my new bike.

It is all about the mindset. Clear a place away from any distractions, have music if you prefer, and revise. Sounds simple yes, but alot of willpower is necessary.

Use what you enjoy to do and apply it to what you're studying. For example, I have to take my SAT in a week, and I am on the computer a lot. To make up for it, I would use a random SAT word in a sentence that is relevant to what I'm doing. Such as, if I'm on Youtube, I would write a comment that includes an SAT word, helping me study and letting me enjoy myself at the same time.

turn off the computer, and set a designated time to revise. find a quiet place (i usually go to my room) and leave all of your distractions in another room. take breaks often, and make sure you are well-rested. it's much easier to focus with a good night sleep.
