I work better w/o uniform as I'm more comfortable, and more cheerful. End of.

I have to at my school(it's public). It keeps things more organized and is easier to choose what to wear in the morning. I like it but no, there SHOULD NOT be uniforms.

Wearing Uniform: Just put on and go in the morning, not be fussy about what to wear.
No one get's picked on for wearing different styles/cheaper clothes.
Doesn't distract people about their appearance and easier to spot.

Wearing Civi's: More comfortable.
Better looks.
....

Yeah I think those are the main reasons why most schools use Uniform. Mine doesn't, we wear whatever we want.

Yes because then I would be seen less with my bad choice of clothes lol.

I don't want it, especially since I just bought like $3000 worth of clothes :p. I really don't want it though, because they way it is now is you can just sit around in whatever's comfortable like sweatpants or whatever.

yeah, those are the main reasons why. and that "adds" to the learning process. school isnt for comfort, its for learning.

with that said i'm against uniforms lol it allows less individualism (which is the goal of uniforms anyway) and i believe it leads to some antisocial kids. my first school was a private school with required uniforms. i left in 7th grade to a public school. when i arrived i had no idea what was in style, what brands worked for what, and how it related to what your interests were. luckily i learned quick and sports helped me fit in, but most of the kids that went to public schools after leaving the private school were totally clueless and were unable to fit in. uniforms create a utopia, and when students leave it they dont know what to do. most of my old classmates are alcoholic, druggies, sluts or all of the above. its what they did to try to fit into a world they had missed out on for 14 years or so.
