(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); f theres one thing the movie industry is consistent with its making comedy movies, and putting together a list of the 10 best comedy movies is always going to a challenging task. While a good majority of comedy movies are those romantic comedies that follow the same predictable format; there have been some really original and creative ideas when it comes to making a good comedy movie. When choosing my top 10 lists, I simply choose the ones I found to be the most memorable and entertaining.


LIST:


1) Superbad - I only saw this movie recently after watching Seth Rogen in Pineapple Express, but thought it was hilarious especailly the two cops and John Hills character Seth.

2) Hot Fuzz - Featuring the same two English actors from Shaun Of Dead, I thought this movie was equally as funny as Shaun Of The Dead, particularly the last 20 minutes or so.

4) Shoot Em Up - A hilirious action/comedy featuring Clive Owen as an offbeat hero saving a baby from a bunch of mobsters.

5) Pineapple Express - Some hilarious scenes throughout the movie, with one of the funniest final 30 minutes I've seen in a comedy.

6) Tropic Thunder - Another great comedy movie for 2008, I thought Robert Downey Juniors character stole the the movie, with other funny parts performed by Ben Stiller and Tom Cruise.

7) Trailer Park Boys: The Movie - I've never seen the show, but thought this movie was far better than I expected it to be; with the character of Ricky providing the most laughs.

8 ) The Simpsons Movie - Wasn't sure how good this was going to be after 20 odd years of the Simpsons, but thought the movie was just as funny as the show - you can never get enough of Homer...

9) Death At A Funeral - A typical English Comedy where everything goes wrong, with plenty of funny and cringe worthy moments.

10) War Inc - This one is a kind of a political dark action/comedy, with some funny performances from John and Joan Cusack and Ben Kingsley.

The only one on that list that I thought was funny was Death at a Funeral.
Superbad is incredibly overrated.

Haha, I like how nearly all of the movies in your list were made in the last few years.

Check out some of the Monty Python films, I'd start with 'Life of Brian'.

How can "Dumb and Dumber" not be on that list.....*facepalm

I haven't seen it but I'm not sure I would classify the avengers as a comedy. :p

Its actually surprisingly funny.
