First off I love tinkering and installing all sorts of sweet aftermarket gadgets in my vehicles.
I found a company which had the item (special starting system) I was looking for, purchased the item. Sadly they only had the option to ship through USPS. I $#@!ing hate using USPS my items are always smashed and opened.
I Placed the order on the 23rd of April. They emailed me a copy of my order with a note saying shipping out can take up to 72 hours (3 days).
About 8 days passed and I started to worry. They charged me for priority which is 2-4 days. I know that USPS is notorious for freeze ups and other stupid shit.
On the 10th day I emailed the company explaining that I have not received my package and would really like an update. 3 days later and they have not responded. I finally got an email from the USPS saying that they just now have received my package for shipping.
Now I was pretty pissed off when I got that email. It was a expensive order, they charged me on the 26th of April and then made no attempt to contact me or respond to my emails. According to USPS the order slip for my package was not made until the 11th of May.
Honestly I feel like I should complain and demand half of my money back due to horrible/ non-existent customer support and the fact that they didn't ship my order out right away or at-least attempt to tell me about the delay.
So should I complain or just be happy that they didn't rip me off?
don't worry about it. things happen, and i'm guessing this just isn't worth the stress. just relax, and enjoy your new item!
