(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey guys. I know those of you who actually have hearts on this site, will read all of this, those who dont will laugh.
My brother Kevin is 10 years old, when he was 3 my family adopted him from Russia.
When my family adopted him, they knew he had cleft palate . That is when you have a space below your nose and there is no skin, if you really want to see what it looks like, google it and look for pics. He was born with 2 dime size holes in his mouth.
He has had many surgerys to fix it, and he has the space below his nose fixed. He has trouble speaking, but I hve been with him for a while, so I can understand him. When he was 7, three years ago, he was diagnosed with Autism. Mostly everyone knows what that is, so I wont go into detail about it, if you want to learn more about it, google it. He has had a tough life so far, with cleft palate and Autism.
Well this year, we got involved in the counties Specail Olympics. I helped out, and it was a amazing experiance, I am truly greatful that for everything i have. He did great in it.
I know most of you wont care about this, but I thought i would share.
Here is a video of Kevin from the Specail Olympics You must login or register to view this content.

I can't say I'm a fan of these types of story or rather the people who run those types of events they do it out of pitty then, they make it sound like these children with disabilities have no chance of challenging those who are "normal" I don't mean to be rude but, that's my take on it.
and hows that different from your parents raising you , the people who raise you try to give you that full hand for life not everyone starts with same amount of cards you look down on people who "waste" their time doing this cause you fell the pity them due to they will never challenge a normal person , if you never help give them a chance your worse then those who pitty them for their disability

I never said they wasted anytime I'm saying that they shouldn't have to do these types of event when they are capable of doing more. I don't look down on anyone who I haven't met if I haven't met a person I can't judge them for who they are and, only at that point will I decide my opinion on them. If I looked down on people with disabilities I would have said something along the lines of

"This is fucking stupid those fucked up brats won't achieve anything in life so they should all go die"

but, did I say that? No. Just because you think they can only have a chance at winning simply because everyone in the contest disabled then, your the one who is being an ass. I said they could win against normal people if they tried to. There have been others who have done it
