I'd open all of them, because until I open the case, the bomb is neither in there nor is it not. I base my hypothesis off of Schroedinger's Cat, you just don't know until you open the case.

1 case. All I would risk is one case.

Each case you open add 1% of chance to die, I would open 5 of them making the chance to die at 5% which is low

Surprised you guys didn't think to pick each one up, a bomb will weigh more or less than the money depending on material used.

well a bomb would weigh relatively the same as 5 million dollars, but I was waiting for an answer like that . +rep for thinking outside the box.

PS: There's another way of testing if it's a bomb without it killing you, but I won't give away the answer. =D

Well, if it kills me instantly, then I wouldn't know that I chose the bomb so I guess I'd take a risk of opening 20 of them, 100m cash. Then quit.
