If you've only heard his radio songs (Niggas in Paris), I suggest you buy The College Dropout, Late Registration, Graduation, and My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Hell even 808s and Heartbreak if that's your style!

None the less, here's to another year of GOOD Music!

Well Michael Jackson was great before he died, Elvis was massive before he died, and lyrically 2pac was a genius maybe not as big as he is in death. But then again neither was Big L or Biggie. Whitney Houston on the other hand never wrote any of her own songs she preformed and fair enough she has a good voice if that your cup of tea. But 2pac, Elvis and Mj shouldn't even be compared to Kanye.. The other 3 are people who revolutionized there genre and made them big. Kenye on the other hand, hasn't really done much for music recently apart from put out a few lackluster songs like "nigg*s in paris" like cmon..Like jesus walks, all falls down and gold digger where good, actually I have 2 of his first albums and they are good, nothing like te crap he produces nowadays.

Yeah but none of that really got noticed till they died. I'm not taking anything away from them, all I'm saying is people unfairly react to judgement when you title someone the best, simply because they're not dead or really old.

Kanye's first 3 albums were genius, 808s and Heartbreak was more of a venting album for himself, MBDTF was amazing! Now while I admit I like his Graduation style better, he's still changing up his game every year, and still making hot tracks. In terms of lyrics and beats, he's got about 90% of hip hop watching the throne.

Also worth adding that no GOOD music is played on the radio today, or is at the top of any charts.

i enjoy some of his music, but, i don't think he qualifies as top anything in the history of music... if it weren't for auto-tune and massive amounts of voice altering computer software, you would kanye as of "a great songwriter" and that's about it....

on another note, he is 4 days older than me, so happy birthday to him. kerry wood is 4 days younger, so happy birthday to him also.... both of these men make me feel broke and like i've wasted my life lol.
