Someone told me the EasyCap overheats your ps3.

Is this true?

wtf no actually yea if you use your ps3 to record for a good amount of hours straight than yea :dumb:

there is no possible way easy cap can overheat your ps3. thats kinda like saying will plugging your ps3 into a tv cause it to overheat because it connects the same way as easy cap. (if your using composite)

Ok i didnt think it could overheat your PS3 but i just wanted to be sure.
Also can i use my Turtle Beach P11 and Easy cap at same time?
and can you use Easycap through HDMI

Secondly, no, I had easy cap before and after heavy use it did in on way, shape or form overheat the Ps3 so you have nothing to worry about there. If your playstation is overheating however make sure the back of the console is 14" or move away from the wall.

no you cannot use your hdmi with easy cap it only uses composite cables for low quality. and i'm not sure about the turtle beaches if they have optical input or not. you turn the ps3's sound settings to have multi output through the composite and optical.

The Easycap cannot over heat the PS3 itself, the capture card might overheat, the PS3 would only overheat because it was left on too long.
