(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'm kinda just ranting about shit today my topic is paying for TV, anyway why do we have to pay to watch television like sky tv etc. that still has advertisements I mean what the fuck you think if you pay something like £15 a month for satellite television services you would not get advertisements shoved down your throat ever 15 minutes, I mean if you go and pirate what you want to watch:

1. You don't have to pay for it
2. You don't get advertisements
3. You can watch it when you want
4. Free HD content

But yet if I do things the legal way:

1. You have to pay (Yes that's obvious and I don't mind) but there should be perks for paying i.e. you should not get ad breaks so frequently or at all. I mean on the internet if I by premium on NGU I no longer see advertisements and I get access to the premium forums that's fair but no not with television I get shittv advertisements every 15 minutes and thank fuck I don't live in America where adverts are longer and more frequent.
2. You can't watch what you want when you want unless you pay more for extra features like Sky+ anytime/on demand
3. You don't get HD as standard you have to pay even more for that

It seems to me that the media just wants you to take the shit end of the deal all the time, Advertising via television is outdated I can't even remember the last time I bought something advertised on the TV. Then next we have that story in America recently involving the TV box that records programs and skips the ads and the TV companys are suing the fuck out of the makers for that because they can't stand the idea of losing revenue due to people not seeing adverts, it seems to me like the media can't adapt and come up with new ways to sell other peoples shit so they have to attack everything that challenges their old fashioned ways. One things for sure I will never be buying a satellite television set, I feel ripped off owning one at all. The only fair televisions service I know of is BBC you pay your TV licence and you get no bullshit TV with no adverts, Done.

In all honesty though I really hate giant corporations constantly milking money out of consumers, and all the profits practically go to one **** that's sit on his ass in his luxury yacht all day and we the people that keep that company alive never see any of those profits improving our services. I really don't know why we stand for this shit as consumers I absolutely loathe being forced to put up with it but nobody cares half the people that watch TV nowadays are from a different generation that don't know any better.
