On September 11, 2001, 19 militants associated with the Islamic extremist group al-Qaeda hijacked four airliners and carried out suicide attacks against targets in the United States. Two of the planes were flown into the towers of the World Trade Center in New York City, a third plane hit the Pentagon just outside Washington, D.C., and the fourth plane crashed in a field in Pennsylvania. Often referred to as 9/11, the attacks resulted in extensive death and destruction, triggering major U.S. initiatives to combat terrorism and defining the presidency of George W. Bush. Over 3,000 people were killed during the attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C., including more than 400 police officers and firefighters.
Where were you on this tragic day? I was in preschool but I was at home. I remember watching it on tv but I did not have much clue what was happening.
I was in elementary school. I don't remember what grade I was in but I remember a ton of kids were getting to go home early, and I was totally jelly and pissed because I had to stay.
I was at school and didn't knew what was going on because I was a Kid,
Though I'm a Muslim and I don't believe that these attacks were caused by Muslims even if they call themselves "Muslims", They are just a group of terrorists with no religion

I was in primary school at the time. The first I heard of it was when I was walking home and my one uncle said to another uncle "the second tower has gone now hasn't it." I never really took notice, didn't really understand what was going on at that point. When I arrived how I remember sitting at the dining table with my sisters eating our dinner and watching the images of the the planes hitting the towers. It was very confusing at the time, it's not something that is easily processed by such a young brain with no real recollection of terrorist attacks before that. After that I went swimming...
1st grade, I remember a teacher came in and told our class, and I didn't really realize the scope of what happened, because I was so young. The day continued on as a normal day.
