So I was interested in buying some novelty IDs...

Thus began my search to buy some novelty IDs. I heard all about IDChief and I was very informed about how he worked and operated. Everyone knew he was the most legit person to go to... I knew this as well but he didn't offer California IDs sadly.

So I was stuck in a decision, either go with IDChief or find another supplier of novelty IDs.

As I looked around and I found this person on craigslist who offered "Novelty Items". He posted this craiglist ad:

He also posted his phone number which was only available for texting(it is a google voice phone number) and his website address: You must login or register to view this content.

As I ventured off to began my process to order, I both emailed him and texted him.

This is what happened:

We texted each other and emailed. He overall seemed very helpful and provided me with loads of pictures.

I gave him a deposit of $50 through a greendot moneypak card.
Then he made the IDs and emailed me pictures of them ALL MADE. Seeing that he had made them I was sure he wasn't going to scam me. He took several pictures and always made sure to answer all of my questions. I was sure this was it... I was going to finally get my novelty IDs!

As I loaded the remaining amount of money into the cards and gave him the ID numbers on the back (Saturday the 23rd - June) , he said the shipment would be out by the next hour(it was around 10 AM that morning). So I was happy he was finally done. As I waited for the IDs, I asked him for the tracking number and for the estimated date they would arrive. He only replied they would come on Tuesday the 26th - June.

That was the last thing I ever got from him... Now it is the 30th and he hasn't responded to any of my texts or emails or voice mails.

I was just wondering if any of you helpful members of nextgenupdate could help me in figuring out what happened to him? I would very much appreciate it if you could email him or text him to see if he responds to you and tell me if he does.

I didn't buy them off of craigslist.... he has his own website : idteam.tk
That's where I bought them.

I didn't make a deal or anything, he made the IDs before I even paid... he sent me loads of pictures of them already made. I'm just concerned about why he just fell off the grid! I tried texting him from different numbers and he won't respond to them either... What I'm saying is why would he just scam me if he stopped replying to everyone that tries to contact him?
