For 4.20 "CFW"
First download the Reverter Update which is here - You must login or register to view this content.
-Virustotal did detect a malware site but I have used this myself and it worked perfectly fine :y:

Second step is to make your folder in the ROOT of your USB, call it PS3, then inside that folder make another called UPDATE and simply place the reverter UPDAT.PUP in the UPDATE folder.
Third thing you want to do is put the PS3 into recovery mode!
You can do this by holding the power button on the console until the ps3 beeps once then switches off again, then press it again until you hear 3 beeps, when you do this simply let the ps3 start recovery mode... now when I did this I used another harddrive swapping my 40gb for my other 320gb so I had to go through the process of formatting my hard drive but you can just simply click on System Update.
It will ask you to hold Start + Select at the same time for a couple of seconds... do this and then simply install the reverter for 4.20
For the 4.21 Reverter use the same steps as above except you use the link provided for the 4.21 Reverter

I have had some questions about the 4.21 reverter .. It may sound stupid but this is for my friend and he wants to know will the reverter downgrade him to 4.20 OFW since he's on 4.21 OFW? :\
