My question is, if I downgrade to a CFW using the E3 Flasher can I install 3.55 OFW and then install a different 3.55 CFW? I am basically asking this because I don't want to risk bricking my PS3.

Any answers on this guys?

I would also like to ask if I downgrade to 3.55 and then update to 4.21 can I downgrade again? I read this on E3's site but not sure what to think:

you should go for a progskeet because you can unbrick a ps3 with a progskeet

I never tried an e3 flasher before myself, but It is possible to downgrade your ps3's firmware to a custom firmware, But you'll lose the ability to play discs, unless you have another bluray drive.

How would downgrading your PS3 effect your ability to play PS3 games with the blue ray drive? I haven't seen ANYTHING that says the E3 Flasher will do that.
