Ok, About the age im not sure. You can use a credit card or bank account after you use wither you can let them stay on or remove them with ease of clicking a button. You send the payments to the other users email that they have on paypal. Its probably the safest way to send money online. If you get scammed they get the money back FAST. Very reliable. You can have a paypal account that isn't hooked up to a credit card/ bank account, but there's a sending/receiving limit of $1600. Once you reach that limit, the account becomes locked.. So keep that in mind if you are going to be sending/receiving a lot of money. Another way to get rid of the limit is to use a vanilla prepaid credit card..

It all depends on what you gonna do on paypal. You need to be at least 18 to use paypal but that not really important because I'm not 18 but I still use it. I only think the age would matter is if you are using a bank account to withdraw the money, then I think they check age but not sure.

you have to give the email of your paypal account to the website and the website do an email to you. you just have to accept that email and your amount got transferred to account.

Thread answered, but to answer your last question, yes you do if you want it to be verified with raised money use limits. It's basically a piece of shit if it's not verified with a CC.
