I am no Cubs fan, but I hope they get one soon. Their baseball team has been through over a century without one. It would be great to see them end the streak. I'm a Phillies, Eagles, Flyers, etc. fan. I know how it feels to be a fan without a championship. I'm just glad I'm not one of those Green Bay/NYY Yankees bandwagoner.

For a more serious answer, I don't see the Cubs winning a World Series in the next 5 years or so I do think they have the right guy at the helm in Theo Epstein, a nice young piece to build the team around in Starlin Castro. Their farm is pretty weak and that will hurt, but they should be finishing near the bottom of the league for a few years so they'll have the picks to replenish that. They signed Jorge Soler who is suppose to become a top flight player out of Cuba I believe it was. They aren't close yet, but I like the direction they are going.

Welp, I like the CUBS much more then the white sox, but unfortunately I think their chances in the next 5 years are probably 30-1.
