NGU was already dying, Elite is just going to escalate its gradual downfall. It is clear the owners of NGU are desperately trying to bring money into the site, at the expense of long-term viability of the content of NGU. Premium is the new regular, Elite will divide the community even further. Elite members are already showing intolerance toward premiums.
My prediction is that Elite will boost donations in the short term, and then gradually fade away. The so called 'dedicated' members of NGU will continue to donate while most regular people stop, due to lack of content. Outsider, if you want to save NGU and stop its declining content at least for a while, STOP with the money making schemes.
Source failed, tutorial section was horrible, and now this 'Elite' will also fail in the long term.
And a message to the admins/mods personally, I understand many of you have to suck up to admins to get your promotions and such, but your attitude is just horrible. Defending money making systems because you want a big boy promotion on a site is just pathetic. You guys don't even have to pay for Elite.
And admins/mods, nice to know you ban people for giving opinions. Check the logs, I said no offencive words. On the contrary, an Elite member named 'Sox' was calling me immature. hahaha..

Elite dosnt change anything bro.it just bring more money to suport the site , its a very busy site , and i guess they need money to improve it.and Elite users will get more stuff :carling:

More money? They don't need more money, they need to stop adding useless shit and stick to a regular forum with a prem section! This changes everything, how can you say it doesn't? Now my donation money is useless, in order to get anything decent I have to pay monthly.

NGU was barely dying actually. A website that has 500+ members a day is what you call progress. These "Money Schemes" are to make NGU better for them new comers.
Also the tutorial section was not horrible in the slightest. They are one of the main causes that are bringing in new and hopefully dedicated people to the site. Okay for example, I was a bit confused on what to do with a game, so I searched for it on Google and the 4th line down, there where tutorials already on this site which did actually help me! Now I am sure people like me who are confused say on a certain thing to do with gaming, could depend on this site.
People of this site are bringing in money only to do what they see best for this website and some people show no appreciation towards them. Atleast Outsider is trying to think of new money ideas to expand and grow this website! Making it alot better for the community.

Constructive criticism is allowed however complaining and moaning over and over and over and over makes the site look negative.
End of the day this site needs your money keeps it going.
Lifetime premium was nice when the site was small but now the costs to run the site are pretty big. We need a more stable income over one time premium which means we need more users each year to donate or the same users to donate.
I would love to hear your ideas how to keep the site running and adding new content without making somebody pay for it
