Did you also notice how this is a completely different topic than usual?
Never heard of a hip hop song that bashes on things, especially how corrupt/fucked up our generation is, hahah.
It's different.

I didn't like this as much as I'll mind 4. 4 was hilarious and had a lot of jokes in it "I used to jack off so much at my parents house now dick has a permanent imprint of my hand around it". I just thought this would be the same, but he did a slightly cliche song, dissing women, dissing black people, it just wasn't anything new or exciting to me. Probably due to my taste more than anything, I think if you're gonna do a diss-track then have a fuckload of punchlines in there, this seemed too serious.

I like this one a lot. I feel like it actually has some meaning behind it. I can really relate to this too, because I know people just like the ones in the video.

Yeah, this is true.

But keep in mind, this is "Ill Mind of Hopsin", so it's basically all about what he thinks on things, talking about his past, what his take on certain things, etc.
It's a lot different, but it's still Hopsin. If you've watched his interviews he talks about these things (mostly hip-hop/music industry) quite a bit, and it connects with his music if you listen close enough, knowing what he's said off-track. Also, he has never changed his style (lyricism) one bit. If you go back to 2010 when he released 'Sag My Pants', it's still the same concept, he's mocking the rappers who think they're gangsters and stuff and create false images of who they are, while in interviews Hop says that they're just normal people, basically.

Yeah that's kinda my problem with it. It feels like it's been done before and that he's always been talking about pretty much the same thing. To be honest, it feels like a summary of Raw if you know what I mean. Even though I loved Raw I think he's covered the same topics enough.

Oh definitely, he's proved his point on how hip-hop artists are fake, society is fucked, etc. But he is coming out with a new album soon, so we should see how that goes. Smile He's a great lyricist and I hope to see some new things come from him, as well as Funk Volume.

It's fucking awesome, he released it on his birthday too. Hopsin is awesome, he sat in a chat room with everyone yesterday just answering his fans questions. All his songs have good messages which is what is great about him.
Been a fan of Hop's for a while now, can't wait until Knock Madness. =D
