I have the 4.20 root keys i found them on another hacking fourm posted by a user with a high reputation he also claims sony has already contacted him and warned him about releasing the keys so i got them when i could but anyways i would like to know a quick explanation about how you put these root keys into a PUP CFW or MFW i know their is a program called PS3MFWBuilder but how do i go about entering the keys into them. I know this is not a simple process but i would at least like a brief explanation or guide on how to do this

Have you not thought of googling the keys he's given you and tried to check out if they have been used before? Also if sony where to have contacted him they would have changed the keys and released an update already, the chance of some 'random' person finding the keys towards huge hackers has the same amount of chance of me becoming an Admin on this site.

But there is a program where you can make MFW without the keys, you just insert the current version you have on your PS3 and you can edit the firmware to how you like, but you can't use it for .pkg or to hack games, you can just use it to take certain things out, like the PlayStation store being located on Videos and games, so its back to just being on the PlayStation Network section.

Also, if these keys were to be real, they'd be all over the internet by now, and this forum would already have them and a major jailbreaking group for PlayStations would have already announced that they have them.
