Has anyone ever ordered a phone from amazon? Does it come with a contract? Can i get just the phone?
HOW DOES IT WORK??

I have the Droid Razr, my usb port is messed up and MOTOROLA wants to charge me 117$ to fix it, im not gonna pay that and not have a phone for 1-2 weeks.. The Droid Razr Maxx is on amazon for 99$, i want to order it, but idk what i would have to do. [If you can not tell, im a noob haha
:fa:
] Can I just order the phone and put my SIM card in it? Would I have to take it to verizon for anything?

If you can help please quote and respond Smile

If you got a phone from Amazon it will be Pay&Go where you have to top up the credit yourself

The price listed there is based on an service contract with the specific service provider (AT&T, Verizon etc). Here is a link with more information.

Hopefully this helps.

On Amazon Wireless all the phones are sold with a required two year contact unless you are looking at the unlocked or no-contract phone sections. The phones with a two year contract are subsidized; therefore, they are extremely far below the retail value of the phone (Normally exceeding triple the cost of the phone on contract). When you select your phone, make sure it is compatible with your cellular network (ie: CDMA for Verizon, GSM for Vodafone, etc.)

Yes, I was looking at it again and then noticed I must purchase a 2-year contract with them. I raged so hard:wah:

The phone I was looking at is compatible with my Verizon service, but now that I notice the no-contract price, I won't be getting it.

you can usually find some good deals on craigslist. However if you're buying one make sure they have a clean ESN. you can ask the seller for the ESN and call your carrier to have them run it. Make sure that shit isn't banned, stolen or anything like that. :y:
