I know computers and Headphones but not regular phones. Also I will obviously thank people that help me so you rep whores con get in here.

Don't get the iPhone 4S. The 5 is just around the corner. The SIII is a great phone, however the Galaxy Nexus is a great phone as well (Since it runs stock Google Android without any Touchwiz etc. laid on top of it)

The One X lags a lot with the Tegra chip. I'd stay away from it.
