(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I have been thinking to myself lately, what is the point of life if you through it doing things you don't want to do. You have to go to school, which most people don't like. You have to do chores and other stuff related to that, which people can't be bothered doing. You go get a job and have to work 8hrs a day, which nobody likes to do. When you go out with friends, what do you accomplish? Nothing, so I don't understand why people say, "why do you sit inside all day?" Well, what did you accomplish being outside? Walking around town and just laughing a few times? Anybody ever think this? I think it's just because i am depressed and sad atm, but w.e

Well, the point of life is that you can try to achieve more each day your happiness, might is trying to improve your knowledge, doing things that perhaps may seem boring at the moment but as a result, will bring good things. School is boring you said... well, it can be annoying, but if you're really focused on achieving your goals and have a vision that your future could be much better if you have to perform some of these "boring" tasks and these obligations that we all need to do, certainly these tasks won't become so boring. It's like when you clean your room, in the time you doing it, is kind of boring and tiring, but in the end, you feel that satisfaction. Life is the same thing, we need to make the " boring" and difficult things before to be able to have the privilege to finally feel that good satisfaction. And the work does not always have to be boring if we find what we like to do, it will be an achievement every day.

Retired Life
You have asked the oldest question that humanity has looked for an answer too since it has had the time and luxury to sit down and think about it.

Religion has come into this thread because it is a direct result of man asking this question 50,000 yrs ago.
Science has proven, that given the right enviornmental conditions, life begins.

It is what you do with your life that matters, not the fact that you have it.

The greatest minds in history have written countless volumes on this subject and I highly recommend that you enrich your life by reading some of them.

In the end, life is what each individual makes of it.

Humans are unique in that they can reflect on the subject and have the ability to choose to enjoy it or not.

To me, life is about relationships with others, about personal honesty, integrity, and the courage & stamina to make the right choices in MY life.

Why must it have a point? Just enjoy it as you want as long as you don't stop others from enjoying it.

The point of life is that there is no point of life. You'll never get anything else so might as well live it. One day, we'll live in a world where jobs and school are not necessary and life will truly be able to be explored as it once was in the past, however, that day is in the future and is dependent upon technology.

I had this phase when i was really sad, but the point of life imo is to do what you want to make what you want of what ever you want. A wise man once side Do what the f*ck makes you happy.

To me, the point of life is to be happy; to enjoy your life and live it to the fullest. Do what ever makes you happy and never regret a decision you make because no matter how wrong you thought it to be at one point it was the right decision because it is the one you wanted to make.

We live and we learn and form ourselves throughout our entire life. Our actions and memories build our personalities and define who we are. I once read that people don't change, they are just trying to find themselves, and this is true. We are never the same because every decision we make changes us in one way or another.

Overall I just do what makes me happy and if people have a problem with it then you are doing something right because there will always be haters just waiting to try to make you upset just because they are.
