Two VA Tech sophomores - David Metzler and Heidi Childs - were found shot to death Thursday morning around a car parked in the Jefferson National Forest.
Police are stepping up patrols in the Caldwell Fields section of the forest. It's a popular hangout for Virginia Tech students.
Funerals for both victims are scheduled for Monday.
