it doesn't sound very good, you need a basic melody (for example maybe a trance beat or some piano keys) and a drop. You seem to only have a build up which is not very good, and the speed of the 'wobbles' seem as if they are random and not controlled. Try to use programs such as FM8 (which is basically like sytrus but just changed a bit) Harmor is also a very neat program, but is very underused and under rated, and also try adding vocals in the song (not during the start I mean in the actual song) and you also need to balance your sounds, I can barely hear your kicks and snares infact I don't even know if you used any hi hats because the sound was soo loud compared to the beat, and your main beat (kick+snare) seems off, it sounds like that you've only used two different versions. Try to play around and make around 4-6 different beats. Use different kicks and snares (I recommend downloading Deadmau5s sound pack) and make your snares more dubstepy. Artists typically don't rely on massive as you're doing in your track because their is soo little you can do with it compared to FM8 or Harmor.

Heres a sample of what I've created using FM8 and Deadmau5's sound pack on fruity loops You must login or register to view this content. It's not fully completed, but thats what it will sound like (if I ever get to finishing it :lolSmile

Depending on what your going for I'd recommend to listen to Borgore or Skrillex or Tomba if you want the heavy type of dubstep. If your going for something along the liquid dubstep genre then Listen to Blackmill which is much more calmer and relaxing.

Read what I said above Smile And also theres a bunch of tutorials on youtube, you don't even need programs like massive or FM8 to make aggressive sounds. You can use something as simple as 3xOcx (which is great for making sub bass's, or really aggresive sounds if you have the right plugins) To make 3cOcx aggresive You'd need plugins like rough rider & poulin Le456 both which are free > You must login or register to view this content. rough rider You must login or register to view this content. poulin. Poulin is what will make your sound more aggressive and rough rider is a compressor which can also be used to make a better snare/kick,

Who’s Jim Erased?
Pretty good for a first track. But the intro needs work, it's just random sounds atm :P And the drop is a bit of a mess aswell atm, needs more of a melody to it if you know what I mean ^^ But it's really good Happy

I hate to leave any criticism because i've tried to make dubstep and i failed terribly. But in my opinion there is too much of the yub yub yub sound, and the sound that is at 1:20 i don't think goes with the song, but overall, I think it's pretty good :y:

its a good start for your first song but like mr grumpy said, you need a beat in the song. at this point it is just a bunch of noise strung together. the wobbles werent bad tho good job on making the wobbles. so just work on a harder build up to the drop and try to incorporate a sexy bass line/beat throughout the song along with your good wobbles.
