I really don't understand why woman do that crap. That really pisses me off that woman can run to their local PD and cry wolf and they believe every word she says, and guess what? Your ass is going to jail for it, even if you never even touched her.

Something like this happened to one of my friends, but I didn't and I still don't believe it. He was at home with his girl friend by their selves, and he didn't even touch her. I mean don't get me wrong, they did have sex a few times, but he would never rape her. I mean why the hell would he? They had sex all the time, and why would all of the sudden, he rape her when he wouldn't have to rape her?

Anyways, they where both at his house, and I guess they kinda got into an argument and broke up that night, so the next day, the damn bitch went up to the PD and said he raped her, and he had to go to some kind of hospital/mental hospital, for pretty much no reason.

He of course went to trial, and the lawyer just told him to plead guilty because if he didn't and he was found guilty later on, then he would have had to spend at least 7 years, and he didn't want that. He had to spend up to two years in this mental hospital because he plead guilty in court.

He also HATED it in there, and I felt so sorry for him too. He was one of my closest friends. It was so sad too, every time they where about to release him, he would try to kill himself, because he didn't want to go back home after that, because he just knew everyone would make fun of him, and think he was a rapist and beat him up and everything else. It was sad, and made me sick to see him in that place for no reason, and him trying to kill himself because he was to scared to even come back home.

He finally wound up coming back home though, and he's all better now too. I guess it just goes to show, that you have to be REAL careful on who you trust and who you have sex with too. :p

They don't just convict on a woman's say so they convict with proof, I could admit to murder but without proof I'd actually done it I couldn't get charged for it (arrested yes but not charged)
Normally lawyers only advise clients to plead guilty when the evidence is showing they are guilty, if there was no evidence that your friends was a rapist he wouldn't of been charged let alone convicted and sent to a mental institution.

I have no idea. I didn't go to the trial. I don't even know the lawyers name. This happened in Oklahoma. Why do you ask?

Because telling a kid to confess with no solid evidence against him is stupid. That'll be with him the rest of his life. You might as well be guilty if you won't prove/fight for your innocence.

Yeah I know, there was no solid evidence that he did it as far as I'm concerned. I don't know a whole lot about it, but all I know is that the lawyer told him to plead guilty, because it would get worse if he didn't and was found guilty later on. I am not sure what all types of evidence there was, but to be honest, I don't really see how there could be any evidence showing that someone raped another.
