This thread is in no means meant to dishonor the lives lost that day, and I know this won't do anything, but, what if? We're all just average 12 - 20 y/o's with no credit to our names, but you knew from a somehow unknown source, that the U.S. would be attacked? What would you do? And how would you do it?

I wouldnt do anything becuase if you went around and told everybody many people would think you had something to do with it. It would be out of your control to stop.

If I had known, I would of found a way to contact the FBI. I would call and e-mail them. Not much else I could do. I also would of found the e-mail of some people in both of the buildings(maybe a manager/high ranked person) and e-mailed them a warning to not go in on September 11, 2001. I would also call both towers and relay the message. Everyone would probably think you're crazy though.

Wouldn't of mattered if you told the government they would just lock you up because it was a big conspiracy

J/k but I wouldn't do anything and if I did it wouldn't prevent it from happening because there was intelligence warning of the attacks and it was ignored

Call the FBI, CIA, and the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration).

Nothing....absolutly nothing.
The goverment had all the info they needed and had the threats already.
They just didn't take it serious enough to do anything.
So really what could you do?

Well, if the government wouldn't do anything, I'd take matters into my own hands, and would be at the twin tours telling people and have friends and family at the airport repeating the message. Whatever I could to save lives.

some people did know. i believe it was the department of immigration or homeland security. they thought they themselves could take care of the situation so they decided to not tell the CIA or anything. i can go into detail but that would take too much time...
