(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); so i have a sandisk 32 gb micro sd card for my HTC EVO 4G and the sd card randomly wouldnt mount so i plugged it into my pc to check for errors , it says i need to format it for use. but im not in the mood to lose all my data collected over two years. no recovery program finds anything and when i try to format it or just read it , it gets really hot and actually melted my adapter. i have to now buy a new one, also it says after formatting i will have 30 mb of data available DA FU?

I'm not sure if this is what happened to you but something similar happened to my cousin on his SD card on his Droid 2. In all actuality it was the SD card that was broken. No amount of reformatting would fix it nor would my phone at the time (Fascinate) recognize it.
