Most you probably don't know about Red Bull Stratos. Well, in about an hours time, one man, Felix Baumgartner will venture to the edge of space. He will free fall, from about 120,000 feet! That's 3 times the average cruising altitude of an airliner! He will break a few world records on the way down, most importantly, he'll be the first ever man to break the sound barrier from a freefall. (Or, at least, he's attempting to)

I'm pretty sure it was cancelled because some guy who gave them the idea and the itinerary like 7 years ago is suing them.

Cancelled? They everything set up. They won't cancel it now, unless the weather isn't good enough.

There was this one US pilot who did something similar to that in the sixty's.

I don't remember how high he was(double word play:carling.
