(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey I have an elgato but the delay prevents me from doing any live streams as my voice is out of sync with the video. Does the hauppage have this problem as well?

thanks

Yeah, obviously you need to have a splitter to the pc and the tv so it wont delay on the tv. But all capture cards will delay on the pc.

ah ok thanks man. Is there a way I can record my voice in time with the delayed video? I have radio delay but I can't figure out how to record with my voice in sync with the video as i'd like to record live coms. I'm new to all this so I may ask stupid stuff lol.

thanks in advance

I'm not to sure how well you would do. It really depends on your computer specs. I have 18gb of RAM and sometimes it messes up because it gets to hot or ive been recording for like 2 hours but if you have a decent computer which I'd say is like 12 gb I'd say you could get by live streaming

I only have a first gen i7 with 8gb of ram. All I want to be able to do is get the audio going into the computer in sync with video I have recorded. I plug my turtle beach mic into the pc and hit record on sony vegas however when I drag the recorded game play into vegas it doesnt match up *sigh* how do youtubers do it?

I mean you could probably get by with doing that. it'd definitely be a better option then getting a hd pvr because there is lag between your tv and the computer with the pvr and slim to none with the black magic
