Health scares and drug issues are no strange subjects to the rap game. With that lean flowing, styrofoam cups filled and weed (laced or not) in rotation, rappers of our generation are finding comforts in controlled substances. This is most definitely no secret in Lil Wayne’s case. Lil Wayne is reportedly being released from a Louisiana’s hospital, Ochsner Medical Center, after suffering a seizure onboard his private plane flying from Texas to LAX [TMZ]. This is the second seizure Wayne has reportedly suffered – the first being in Texas. Lil Wayne’s PR reps are denying the truths of this report, but given Lil Wayne’s long history of substance abuse we’re forced to believe him. Folks that are close to Lil Wayne have been urging him to slow down his lean flow for years. But like he said on “Duffle Bag Boy” , “weed and syrup till I die”. Will these near death experiences give the Young Money rapper a wake up call? Where’s Baby?
