In my opinion I find many of these requirements counterproductive as they, by their very nature, are racist. It categorizes and divides people based on their race opposed to simply focusing on what matters (efficiency, productivity, etc...) Now, when dealing with lower income areas and such I am more understanding as that can limit a student's full capabilities. Regardless, I see these types of operations as damaging as it makes us think as others by race. All missing the fact that we are all people living on the same planet, and in many of the scenarios the same nation.
So what are your thoughts?

As many companies have people review resumes before submitted to higher authority, there is diversity required for (I think 50+ employee) companies. You require a certain % of each race.
EX:
1st: 4.0 GPA+ (Mostly white)
This basically covers all of the whites.
When they get to the blacks they'll be going down to even 2.0 GPA when that spot could be fulfilled by a very smart white person with a 4.0+ GPA, but racial diversity requirements require you to have a certain % of this and that as stated before. Now, I think it would be nice to have a company full of all sorts of different races, it would be quite odd for a black gentleman to walk into a company full of white gentlemen. Names would be passed around behind his back, etc. But the thing is, it's just not possible. I really don't think anything should be changed about it, because I can't think of a good resolution.

Funny thing actually, just earlier in the week I was talking to my step-brother about diversity, the cheeky fucker told me he puts himself down as bisexual, even though he's not. xD (Not a bad idea... hehe)

It's the racial diversity requirements that he's talking about. Uni/college/businesses require racial diversity.

I agree with OP, requiring to have diffferent ethnicities in the workplace/education is racist its self. Per say that there is one mexican who has lower grades than a white guy who has better grades they would have to bring in the mexican and why? To satisfy the liberals who think porking each other in the ass is a good idea.
